Snake buckle belt

Snakes are fascinating creatures. They move in this delicate, effortless way that makes them mesmerizing to watch. I wanted to mimic this movement in the form of a belt buckle. As sunlight hits the textured pattern of my snake buckle’s “body,” it seems like the snake is moving. I hand carved the buckle and tongue out of wax, and cast them in bronze. I also did the leather working for this belt.
