Sigma ring

My ring is inspired by the Greek Sigma symbol. I wanted to create a sculptural and smooth version of it - something that flows over the fingers and is interesting to look at from different angles. I love how smooth and easy it is to write the Sigma sign… I emulated this by bringing the ring to a high polish to mimic this free-flowing sort of feeling. I hand carved this piece out of wax and cast it in sterling silver.
